Kierbeck BarRoll Carpet Reinforcement is a cost effective way of laying reinforcement in medium to large uninterrupted floor expanses. Supplied in roll form, this one-directional, non-welded mat of reinforcing bars simplifies and reduces the handling and placing of loose bar in concrete slab areas.

Starting with the Architects or Consulting Engineers general arrangement drawings, our Engineers produce Finite Element Analysis designs to determine the minimum steel required.

Our carpet reinforcement drawings are completed meticulously in accordance with the FE calculations to ensure the minimum steel possible is provided. Significant savings can be achieved.

Finite element designs also yield extremely accurate predictions of long term slab deflections.

Alternatively, we can draw carpet reinforcement plans directly form the main consultants design outputs or convert their existing RC slab drawings.

BarRoll can provide a fast and efficient method of covering large areas of slabs, carriageways or bridge decking with a minimum of effort and man-power.

BarRoll can be manufactured using 10, 12, 16, 20, 25 and 32m rebar, up to 12m in bar length and up to 30m in roll out length to a specified roll weight to suit on-site conditions and crane capabilities.

Multiple bar diameters, bar lengths and staggers can be incorporated on a single roll, combined with the option of using stainless steel, epoxy coated or galvanized bar if necessary. BarRoll can accommodate just about any requirement.

BarRoll is machined manufactured and can accommodate bars at 50mm to 450mm entrees using 2 strands of 2mm wire twisted around between the bars to accurately maintain spacing.

BarRoll is delivered to site Pre-Slung on our Safety Rail Trailers which, as a complete package, contributes to a risk free installation for all operatives additionally this could reduce the risk of "repetitive strain" for the fixing team as there are fewer loose bars to place individually.
