All reinforcing steel supplied by Kierbeck meets current British Standards and come from CARES approved rolling mills in the UK, the EU and overseas.

All suppliers to Kierbeck are vetted carefully to ensure that

  • the reinforcing steels are produced to a CARES approved quality and product assurance scheme.

  • the reinforcing steels meet the additional chemical analysis and geometric consistency standards(over the requirements of the British Standards) to satisfy our customers needs and our exacting quality requirements.
  • the reinforcing steels are produced and delivered by means which have the lowest possible environmental impact and carbon footprint.
  • Kierbeck are satisfied that the whole supply chain has a responsible approach to environmental matters and is not exploitative of labour at any point in the supply chain.

To ensure that we are always in a position to supply our customer’s needs, we take deliveries from various sources; by road transport and by ship directly to our Kierbeck Wharf in Barking. We maintain a large stock of a variety of diameters and lengths in both Bar and Coil form at our works.

In addition to reinforcing bars to British Standards B.S. 4449, we also supply

  • Stainless steel reinforcing bar cut and bent
  • Cut bent and galvanised reinforcing steel
  • Cut bent and epoxy coated reinforcing bar
