3D Detailing

In addition to traditional 2D detailing Kierbeck also have the capability to offer 3D reinforcement detailing.

Reinforced Concrete detailing has traditionally been completed as a 2D exercise.

3D detailing provides considerable added value by introducing facilities such as clash detection and on site 3D model interrogation.

2D drawings and bending schedules are still produced and issued traditionally but a 3D model can be issued to the Contractor on site. Site personnel find this very useful where congestion of reinforcement or site restrictions would not normally be discovered until the reinforcement is on site and being fixed.

The steel fixers can also view the model to answer any queries instantly. The 3D model shows every single bar in the exact position it should be fixed as well as any existing obstructions etc.

Our team of Chartered Civil & Structural engineers and experienced CAD technicians are experts on all of our latest reinforcement products and techniques, their job is to ensure that you are presented with the most efficient and cost-effective solution for your project.

Kierbeck have developed a fast & efficient detailing service using the latest state of the art software, for detailing traditional loose bar layouts, Special Mesh & Carpet layouts, together with maximising the use of off-site fabrication to speed up the construction programme.

The earlier we are involved in the project, the better. We can then look at the project as a whole and optimise the steel reinforcement design to deliver a customised detailing solution that satisfies your specific project needs, saving you time and money.

All work is completed in the UK under supervision of Chartered Engineers and is subject to extensive checking procedures to ensure a consistently high quality of output at all times.

Drawings and bending schedules are produced to a high standard in accordance with BS 8110or EC2.

Drawings and schedules can be issued in many electronic formats, either by mail or through a secure FTP site to suit your requirements.

We can provide quotations on a fixed price for a complete project, price per drawing, or price per tonne to suit your requirements.
